The numbers tell us that Xcelsior exceeds expectations. The data from
passenger surveys, feedback from drivers and testing at Altoona all say
the same thing, that we've built a better bus. Since its introduction in
2008, we have built or have on order more than 1600 Xcelsiors, in 35,
40, and 60 lengths and with a variety of propulsion systems.
Our objectives were to deliver life cycle savings and improve the
experience for passengers and drivers. Better fuel economy, lighter
weight, disc brakes and the industry's first LED headlights make this a
better bus by far. Looks like Xcelsior really is better by design.
